  • Walking with us! Go to our Step Out website and join the team!

  • Or if you can't make it, become a "virtual walker." You'll be given your own personal webpage and can fundraise using online tools. All dollars you raise will be counted towards our team total.

  • Or just make a donation!

As young dietetics and nutrition leaders it is our job to help spread the word and educate communities about metabolic diseases, in this case, diabetes.

ST. BALDRICKS FOUNDATION

What: World's Toughest Mudder

When: November 14, 2016

Where: Lake Las Vegas, Henderson, NV

Support one of our very own! Brice Hilburn is a student in our department who is participating in an event that supports the work of the world's very best childhood cancer researchers. St. Baldrick's, the beneficiary of this head shaving and 24 hour race, is a childhood cancer charity funding research to help families and find cures for cancer. Your donation wisely invested with researchers at hundreds of institutions worldwide, not just one hospital, and support the most innovative projects which are leading the way to cures for kids with cancer.

Lets support our fellow classmate and as much money as possible! Follow the link below for more information and directions on how to donate.

SUPPORT BRICE HILBURN

Life if unpredictable and the time we have is so valuable.  In our everyday lives we take many things for granted.  When was the last time you stopped to take a deep breath of fresh air?  To feel the rays of sunshine hit your face?  Enjoy the scent of a blooming flower?  Not everyone is so lucky to have this privilege.  I was one of those people until I had a life changing medical issue myself I had to battle through.  That is why I joined the St. Baldrick’s foundation.

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
