Benefits of being a member
Being an active member is something you can add to your resume. It also looks great when you are applying for the internship at the end of your studies, as this organization is looked at with great pride from our professors. Being involved in the organization can also expose you to opportunities in dietetics within our community and at FIU. It helps you network through our events or with one of our many guest speakers invited to our general meetings. Our speakers give you an opportunity to discuss being an RD outside of the academic setting.
